Delicacies from the kitchen and the cellar
The team at Restaurant Vögeli - led by Karlheinz and Vibeke Vögeli - treats its guests to regional and international cuisine. The chef himself guarantees the high quality of the delicacies from the kitchen and the wine cellar.
Karlheinz Vögeli, renowned for his culinary masterpieces, is at the stove every day, cooking for his guests, who enjoy the special ambience in the Arvenstube (40 seats), the Tannenstube (20 seats) or the time-honoured grand hall, which seats between 80 and 100. In fine weather, discerning guests are invited to indulge in culinary delights on the spacious sun terrace with its outdoor bar, whilst taking in the unique mountain panorama.

A long-standing family tradition
Karlheinz and Vibeke Vögeli have been running the Alpenhotel Malbun, which is over a hundred years old, since 2002 as the fourth generation of the family. Simon and Martin – who represent the fifth generation – have completed their training in the hospitality industry and are on hand to support their parents with advice and practical help.

Malbun (1,600 metres above sea level) is considered an insider’s tip amongst winter sports enthusiasts. Anyone visiting Malbun in winter, where snow is guaranteed, will discover a gem that meets all expectations of a family-friendly winter sports resort. Skiers, snowboarders and tobogganists will find everything they need to enjoy their favourite pastimes.
Small but lovely, nestled in a unique natural landscape, Malbun also shows itself at its best in summer and autumn. Malbun is the starting point for numerous hikes in Liechtenstein or into neighbouring countries.

In 20 minutes, you’ll be in another world
Malbun can be reached from Vaduz by car or bus in 20 minutes via Triesenberg/Steg. Vaduz is directly connected to the Rhine Valley motorway (St. Gallen–Chur–Zurich). The Buchs and Sargans railway stations can be reached by regular bus services in just a few minutes.
